Strong backs

Deck plate fairing using Schelle aluminum bridges, tensile nuts and mounting studs is economic. The aluminum bridges are installed transverse to the welding seam. Depending on the required effort AB120-2, AB120-3 or AB120-4 are mounted on the longitudinal ligaments, with ALB1/Se used in between.

Aluminum strong backs in lengths 1000mm – 9000mm can be mounted parallel to the welding seam.

These can reduce the assembly time considerably when preparing walls. Due to their flexibility, the strong backs can also be used for longitudinal seams on outer shells. The application area for our strong backs is a plate thickness of up to 8 mm.
